Strat-econ is a newly-created consulting firm that focuses its work on the strategic implications of economics on businesses' competitive success in their market(s).

We focus on strategy and economics. The two are often inter-related: sound economic arguments and understanding are useful in supporting business strategies and developing strategic insights.

Strategy. The need to take a strategic view and to regularly re-assess strategic options for sustainable competitive success.
Economics. The growing importance of sound and in-depth (at times technical) economic analyses and of harnessing relevant new (or old!) insights or research in properly evaluating strategic alternatives.
